The standard row post forms the basis of the vineyard structure. The distance between the row posts varies depending on the terrain and the winemaker's habits, up to a maximum of 6 m, the distance between the individual rows takes into account the technology that will be used in the vineyard, and is usually in the range of 1.6 - 2.4 meters.
There are 4 holes in the post, Ø 8 mm. S-hooks are used to secure the guide wire between the posts, which are spaced 10 cm apart. Standard row
The post contains 2 x 11 hooks. Material: Hot-dip galvanized with a zinc layer of 275g per m2.
The row post is used in individual rows of the vineyard, except at the beginning and end of each row (here the end post is used). The Agropodnik row post is rolled from 1.5 mm thick steel sheet.
Row posts are driven into the ground approximately 70 cm deep. The distance between individual posts during installation should not exceed 6 m. In areas with strong or frequent winds, the distance between posts is max. 4.5 meters. The standard dimensions of a row post are: height x width x depth - 2500 x 50 x 30 mm. The weight of the post is 3.1 kg.
Alternatively, concrete posts can be used to construct a vineyard track.
