The height of the mesh is 125 cm, the color is anthracite RAL 7016 (grey-black), the mesh is 50 mm, the hot-dip galvanized wire from which the mesh is made has a diameter of 1.7 mm and including plastic coating 2.5 mm . The braided tension wire (top and bottom) has a diameter of 3.5 mm, (of which 2.5 mm has a hot-dip galvanized steel core) The mesh is sold in whole rolls of 25 m . From a height of 125 cm, we recommend also purchasing a central wire.

All wires are hot-dip galvanized and the diameter of the steel core is actually 1.7mm !. Weaker diameters, even by only tenths of a millimeter, significantly increase the softness of the mesh and reduce its lifespan and usefulness, as a weak mesh made of 1.5 or 1.65 mm wire is very susceptible to damage by dogs, vandals, garden equipment, etc.

Plastering is carried out using the extrusion method, i.e. by thermal melting and pressure pressing of melted high-quality plastic onto hot-dip galvanized wire, which guarantees perfect adhesion and a long service life of over 20 years .

The advantage of mesh with braided tension wire is that you do not have to tension the wire and the mesh separately, which speeds up the assembly process, but you need to realize that you are tensioning both the wire and the mesh in one process. When tensioning the wire, you have a whole package of mesh hanging on the tensioning wire, which has an effect on higher physical demands and also requires experience to ensure the quality of assembly. Personally, we prefer mesh without entangled tension wire when building a fence, when the assembly process can be divided into separate initial tensioning of wires (wire warp) and then the mesh can be hung on these wires by hooks on the mesh. However, regionally (Prague, Plzeňsko), according to age-old customs, fitters are used exclusively to this type of mesh with tension wire and larger flat lengths in this design can be assembled really quickly. When choosing a mesh supplier, carefully compare and pay attention to the following parameters (which our quality mesh has):

The wire in the mesh is at least 1.7mm/2.5mm and made of hot-dip galvanized steel! Do not be tempted by a weaker wire - even if, for example, the stated diameter is 1.65 mm, which will actually be only 1.6 mm thanks to the tolerance of the ČSN standard. By saving a crown, you would have bought a significantly softer non-functional mesh, which will easily destroy even your dachshund.

The wire entangled in the mesh require at least a core diameter of 2.5 mm and incl. 3.5mm plastic wrap! There are also 2.2mm to 3.2mm tensioning wires on the market, but when heavy netting is hung on such a weak 2.2mm/ wire, the entire fence will crack and be destroyed in the winter. Wire weaker than 3.5 mm also sags over time and creates unsightly sagging mesh waves on the fence.

Require mesh with 50mm mesh! With a larger mesh size (55mm, 60mm), manufacturers' production costs decrease, but the strength of the mesh is significantly reduced.

Prefer a Czech manufacturer with quality products certified by ISO 900 2 systems. On the one hand, you will support the domestic labor market, and any complaints with Polish, Slovak or Chinese manufacturers are lengthy and with an uncertain outcome.

Request specialized shipping and don't settle for delivery of damaged mesh by courier companies PPL, DHL, etc...! Transporting this mesh has many difficulties and is very demanding. The durability and strength of meshes is mainly determined by the diameter of the wire and the size of the mesh, so be sure to choose a mesh made of the strongest possible wire and with a mesh of 50 mm.
For meshes with a smaller wire diameter and larger mesh size, their lower production cost is greatly reflected in their durability, strength and quality.
The legal trick of sellers and manufacturers also consists in stating the maximum "on paper" increased diameter of the wire to the upper "possible" tolerance according to the standard. E.g. the declared core diameter of "1.65mm" may actually be 0.1mm less according to the standard. At the same time, every 0.1 mm of wire diameter reduces the weight, strength and useful value of the product by approx. 10%. Our in-house regulation tightens the tolerance to a maximum diameter deviation of +/-0.03mm. (it is lighter and therefore less strong!!)
