A concrete edging board is the only functional option (unlike plastic board substitutes, etc.) to prevent grass from growing through the fence, to strengthen and thicken the entire fence, and to prevent animals from digging under it. Using a concrete board will increase the utility value of the entire fence and ensure easy mowing and excellent maintenance of the greenery around the fence.

The surface of RODEPA boards is smooth, the boards are of high quality and are manufactured using the continuous casting method. Manufactured in the Czech Republic.

Length 250 cm, height 30 cm, width 5 cm, the slab is made of vibrocast concrete and reinforced with steel reinforcement. The slab has a smooth profile without a nose and a straight profile with a chamfered upper edge.

Due to the necessity of transporting these boards "standing up", we ship a minimum quantity of 3 boards per size (and more). As smaller quantities cannot be properly secured with a kurta standing up on a pallet. Thank you for your understanding.

Attachment to the fence post is done using a base plate holder (Zn or stainless steel). When using a base plate, it is always necessary to increase the length of the post by approximately 30 cm compared to the recommended height.

ATTENTION!! We would like to point out that even with the reinforcement of the sub-gravel slabs, it is NECESSARY to work (handling, placing the slabs, storing, etc.) always in an upright position. Never lay the slabs, there is a risk of cracking!!!

The product is shipped on a non-returnable packaging (pallet) with a charge of 150 CZK/pallet. There are 15 pieces on the pallet + we add a maximum of 3 extra pieces to the LAST pallet (the system automatically calculates the required number of non-returnable packaging for your order)

Transport is carried out by a classic truck without a hydraulic arm, therefore it is necessary to arrange your own folding (by hand or with a forklift, excavator, loader).

Procedure for handling boards.
A secured, originally packaged pallet can only be handled with handling equipment designed exclusively for moving pallets. We always handle pallets with original forks, exclusively in the direction perpendicular to the boards (perpendicular to the longer side of the pallet). The entire pallet must be moved smoothly, without shocks or impacts, to avoid damage to the product.
Carefully place the pallet with the boards on a horizontal, prepared surface. Before cutting or removing the reinforcing, securing plastic and steel straps, ensure that the boards remain in a vertical position. If you need to handle the boards individually, always move them in a vertical position. Even temporary storage of the boards must be in a vertical position, secured against tipping, etc. Next, prepare the holders for the posts and check the distance between the board holders (leave a reserve of at least 1 cm so that the board can be easily inserted into the holders). After checking the distance between the holders, grab the board at the ends (at least two people handle it) and turn the board around the longitudinal axis by 180° so that the beveled edge is at the top. (This is the only time the board is “on the ground”.) Carefully insert the board into the holders up to its bottom. This means that the board is fitted and it is possible to move the board evenly on both sides. The boards must not be loaded on one side! The undergravel board must be moved and handled ONLY IN A VERTICAL POSITION!!! Do not carry the boards on a “float”, do not transport them individually on the forks of a forklift, excavator and certainly not on a wheelbarrow, etc. Do not transport the boards on a split pallet! It is not possible to make a complaint about boards that are not always in a vertical position or that have been handled in violation of the handling instructions. By accepting the goods, the customer agrees that the goods were handed over in order and without defects. Later complaints will not be considered.

The movement of the entire pallet must take place smoothly, without shocks or impacts, so as not to damage the product.

Before breaking, removing the stiffening, securing plastic and steel strips, ensure that the boards remain in a vertical position. If you need to handle the plates individually, always carry out the transfer in a vertical position. Even temporary storage of boards must be in a vertical position, secured against overturning, etc.

Next, prepare the holders for the posts and check the distance between the plate holders (leave a margin of at least 1 cm so that the plate can be easily inserted into the holders). After checking the distance between the brackets, grasp the board at the ends (manipulate by at least two people) and turn the board around the longitudinal axis by 180° so that the beveled edge is at the top. (this is the only moment during which the board is "lying".)

Carefully insert the board into the holders up to its bottom part. With this, the board is fitted and it is possible to close the board evenly on both sides. Plates must not be loaded on one side!

The sub-gravel plate is moved and handled ONLY IN A VERTICAL POSITION!!!

Do not carry the boards on a "patty bag", do not transport them individually on the forks of a forklift truck, an excavator and certainly not on a wheelbarrow, etc. Do not transport the boards on a split pallet! It is not possible to make a claim on boards that are not still in a vertical position, or that have been handled in violation of the handling instructions. By accepting the goods, the customer agreed that the goods were delivered in good order and without defects. Later complaints will not be taken into account.
